Are pumpkin picking places open...
during the weekdays?
We want to bring Jared to pick pumpkins/see animals/cornfield/etc...but we can't go on the weekends because of dh's work schedule.
We'd also like to stay kinda close to home as well (we're in Farmingdale).
Any suggestions?

Absolutely, I believe all the ones in the Melville area are open on weekdays. The only thing is they may be pretty crowded with field trips and all.

sure. most are. I know that at WPF, the big festivities are weekends only, but you can go during the week and still do a lot. I took the kids the other day to the local nursery (you can try Hicks or Martin Viette).

We went to Hicks last week and the hayride was open during the day. There is not as much going on as there is on the weekend but it was enough for us.

I thought Hicks was very lame IMO, we are going out east this weekend
