Are my pine trees dying?
new homeowner here and my privacy trees in our backyard are turning brown and I'm not sure if they are shedding or dying. anyone know?
edited to resize pics.

LOL.......we were afraid too but NO they are just shedding.
Ours are back to all green again.....but they had some brown spotting for a while. They just dry out and fall off  Not to worry! But I know how you feel b/c we were sooo disappointed.......until I noticed other trees.

whew! thanks! after posting I did a little research and I think we have white pine trees and they keep their needles for one year so we should see this every year but still it's a little unnerving to see them turn brown. thanks for posting.
