Are diapers and formula cheapest at BJs?
Hi,
We are expecting twins in a few short weeks and DH mentioned that maybe we should get a BJs membership for diapers and formula. Do you find they are cheapest at BJs or can we find cheaper by looking at weekly sales at target/walmart etc?

Yes, we have found the diapers to always be cheaper at BJ's, regardless of sales, coupons or incentives at other stores or online. BJ's also sends out their own coupon book every month where there are always coupons for diapers and wipes, usually $5 off a box of diapers and $3 off wipes. Plus, you can use ANY manufacturer coupon at BJ's along with their own coupon. We just time it right so we have a couple of coupons at once and stock up.

I used diapers.com..if you get a promo code, I thought it was a good price..and for some reason their boxes had a higher count of diapers than BBRU.

BJ's is definitely cheapest for diapers. Like a pp said combine a $5 coupon from their coupon book with a manufacturer coupon. Only problem is that it takes a few months for the coupon books to start coming to your home. I would sign up in the store at the beginning of a month and ask for one of their coupon books.

Yes and yes...look for a 60 or 90 day free membership to start you out. Sometimes they come in the Val Pak you get in the mail. That will save you some money for a few months. Also, I found they have the best selection of diapers, wipes, formula, and baby food than any other club. ( Def great organic stuff if you're interested!)

careful with this though bc the fine print says you must pay a fee for not being a member--basically you don't get the real member price. It is just like a "free entry" to the store

I would check that then. I actually didn't use one when I signed up.

Yes - I find it is cheaper at BJ's r Costco. But I just recently discovered Diapers.com and depending on how much you spend or any online coupon codes you can find, they can be either the same price or a little cheaper. I love that it was delivered to my door (I got free shipping) in 3 days. One less thing I have to get at the store

I have twins. Definitely get the bjs membership. Well worth it. I get so much there beyond diapers and formula...diaper genie refills, gerber yogurt, gerber juice, etc. We even got them some of their Christmas and Easter toys there.

BJ's membership is $40 or $45...That is what you would pay for a case of diapers in most stores.... Definitely worth it...

I buy my formula there - the cheapest by far unless my supermarket has a sale.
I use Target diapers though.

BJs diapers are only cheaper if you have coupons for them and a mauf. one. But my son is in size 5 so that might be the difference. Formula was almost always cheaper there. But a BJs membership is worth it anyway.

For my twins, I was so glad that Luvz diapers works for them. They are cheaper then the bj's brand normally. I then stack up their coupons and manufactures coupons. When they have their $5 off luvs all of my family and friends know to get the coupons to me. I currently have 5 cases in the garage. They will also exchange for the future. So if my girls grow out/blow out of their current size and I still have 3 cases, I can exchange for the larger size. They are also cheaper then target brand. I don't know about formula, They are breast milk babies. They are great for toys, clothes, and lots of great organic and non organic foods.

Yes. We use pampers and they are cheapest there after coupons. They have similac. We used the rtf quarts and you can use one similac check per bottle- so 8 per case. It's $42 for 8 qts.

I used the BJs brand formula for DD2- it's the same as Similac Advance- but a few dollars less for 2x the formula.
