Approved for IVF
Finally got a letter from GHI approving for IVF, which means I do not need to go thru 6 more rounds of pointless IUI's....I fee so much more hopeful now!!!

I have GHI as well and my doc told me today that i will be moving on to IVF (but didn't do the 6 rounds of IUI yet) i never was told about a letter? do i need to get one?

It depends on your Ins plan, my husband works for NYC. I say it's better safer then sorry, so therefore I would call your insurance company to make sure everything is in-line.
My plan wanted me to 12 rounds of IUI's before coverage, the letter was to jump to IVF now instead of doing 6 more.

yea i am a NYC employee as well and also had to do 12 rounds of IUI first... but i had an ectopic pregnancy and the doctor said that it should be fine with my insurance b/c if i do another IUI my chances of another ectopic increase.. i guess i should call my insurance company just in case.. thanks!
