i grew up where my mom always had a contract on stuff but that was bc she actually bought the items and took out the contracts.
we moved into our house in may. without getting one of the general home warranties, can i get service contracts on say, my washer/dryer or any kitchen stuff?

also, we have gas and i called national grid and they dont do contracts. i would really like one for our heating system especially and plumbers just come on a case by case basis. any suggestions?
