Apartment Vent-Mice & Ghosts (lol)

I'm really trying to make light of this situation, but this is the story...

So we got that atpt we wanted and got the keys last Thursday.

My mother started to clean the apt Sunday, and I thought she was nuts...UNTILL we went there to see and she asked me what the things in the outlets were....So I was like HUH?

And they looked like air fresheners..I took them out of the wall and on the back it said "Pest Chasers"....And my mom was like i think they are for mice...

Then she saw brillo stuffed into one of the steps
So she flipped out, went to talk to the landylady, n she wasnt home, so she called her on the fone...The landlady said there was a prob w/mice 4 years ago, and a month ago the old tenant saw ONE mice and put those things in.....

I'm upset that she didnt tell us anything-

Oh yea, to top it off...the ex ex tenant died up there.....
So ill be having a party w/mice and ghosts....

aww dont be worried, i think in all apartments there is always a small chance of mice or bugs or what not, and brillo is a great way to deter those creatures just as a precaution, i have it stuffed in every crevice of my apartment just to be safe :)
