I live in Victorian Gardens in Holtsville. They just started to accepts dogs. I know they always accepted cats. Dogs must be a certain size and there is an extra fee.

Re: apartment complexes?
I also live in Victorian Gardens in Holtsville. They do allow dog under 35 lbs with breed restrictions. It is nice here too.

Re: apartment complexes?
I live in Lake Grove Apartments. pet friendly, not to mention there's a pool and gym here.
HOWEVER - I STRONGLY advise you be careful which building you move into, the ones in the 20's and buildings 1 & 2 I hear are the best.
This place can be a pain sometimes, but I believe it's the apartment I'm in.

I live here and I have a cat. They also allow dogs, up to 2 pets per apt, but only 1 dog/apt. Like everyone else, they do haev breed restrictions, but judging from the dogs some of my neighbors have, I do not think they are that strict.
But I don't think there are any 2 BR's avail. I inquired for myself and was told that they are at full capacity and would have to go on a wtg list.

Re: apartment complexes?
I'm in the Villas @ Medford (Fairfield) and they allow dogs. We have a boxer and they also have dog areas set up with poop bags and dumping stations

Re: apartment complexes?
The Fairfield properties allow dogs. There is a weight limit (and breed restriction) iand you have to pay a fee. They have information about pets on their website. I lived in the Fairfield Courtyard in Hewlett before buying my house.

Re: apartment complexes?
I know of 3 apartment complexes that the management company for my building has that accept dogs/cats in the babylon area. We do not pay extra for our cats, and I've seen large dogs in our building and another one. FM me for the number if you want.

Re: apartment complexes?
Eagle Rock Management has many apartment complexes in Nassau and Suffolk. I know the ones near me (Bellmore Gardens, Seaford Gardens) are pet-friendly, but I don't know if they all are (or if there are restrictions on the size and number of pets).
They have a website -- www.eaglerockmanagement.com -- and I know when they have vacancies, they are often listed on MLS.

Re: apartment complexes?
We lived in the Granada Tower building when we lived in Long Beach. They were extremely pet friendly.
It's a co-op though. I think Topper Mgmt were who we initially went through.
Many of my clients live in Fairfield complexes, and while none of them have pets, this company has very shady business practices, try to enforce wackadoo fees and just can be very hard to get in touch with at times if you need assistance.
I have also had a couple of clients who lived in two seperate Fairfield complexes who got bed bugs.

I have someone I work with that lives in an Eagle Rock building in Carle Place.
I am sure they allow some pets. This person has birds.
