Anyones kid have a heartattack when you wash their hair
My son hates getting his hair washed. I bought one of those shampoo cups and still last night he was screaming. Help!

DD hates it! I've started trying to get her to look up when I rinse it, so the water runs back, but inevitably she leans forward just as the water hits...

yes yes yes i just posted this yesterday. I tell DS "sorry honey but you just have to bear with it". I dont think he understand b/c he just keeps screaming his head off.

He's much better now that he's older, but we went through this for a LOOONG time.
He goes through phases.. Some days he doesn't mind it, others he'll still scream his head off .. so I just make it really quick and am glad he doesn't have a whole lot of hair still

Yes my DS hates it, too. I think he just doesn't like having water in his eyes so I keep a dry washcloth and just wipe his eyes as soon as I rinse his hair. My SIL assured me they grow out of it.

I thought my son was the only one that loved it...up until recently, he was ok when I would pull his head back and rinse his hair...these days he screams bloody murder...I think its all kids...

DD actually loves it. She laughs and tries to put her face under the water. I think it's because of taking her to Saf-T-Swim and the town pool. It looks like she associates the water with fun, in fact she is starting to get mad when bath time is over. I have to let her watch all the water go down the drain before I can take her out.
Can you do any fun time swimming to try to help DC like the water?

My Mom was amazed to see how much Ainsley likes it and said I was lucky that most kids are not like this.
He loves the bath. He just hates the hair washing. If he splashes himself he doesn't care but when I pour water over his head that is when the meltdown starts.

I don't have an issue with the actual scrubbing of the head.... it's the rinsing...
God forbid any water falls on her face... she's breathing and sputtering as if I put her UNDER water!

This may sound harsh but from the time of our childrens first bath we always dumped the water over their face. We got a few screams but they got used to it quickly and now it not an issue.

Opposite actually. My DD loves it. She sits and waits for me to pour it over her head. And then she laughs. She LOVES water. I think she was created in the shower
