anyones infant (0-12 months) get diarrhea in heat?

i noticed with both my kids they did/do? for example if its hot in the car when we first get in? or at the beach/ pool..is it just my kids?

Caroline had diarhea yesterday and today, both times were after being out. I decided, you know because I have abdolutely no medical background what so ever, that it was from the heat.

IDK since 2 weeks ago, DS has been having diarrhea, no other symptoms except typical teething ones, so I attributed it to teething ... maybe could be?

But I give him a tsp of rice in each bottle and it helps to bind his stools, still a little runnier than normal, but not full blown diarrhea with the rice.

So weird that you posted this. I was just wondering today if the heat had something to do with it. She doesn't have what I would technically call diarrhea, but it's definitely not as "solid" as usual, and it's DEFINITELY more often. Ick.

hmmm last 2 days DS has had diarrhea but i thought it was just teething. didnt even consider it possibly being the heat.

Wow, same here! DD's poop has definitely been a thinner consistency

i read somewhere that diarrhea is the beginning stage of dehydration so now im giving DD extra fluids when we are out
