Anyone's DR take HIP??
Dr. Brenner doesn't and I'm looking for recommendations. They'll pay for the IUI's and meds, and my DH's insurance doesn't so now I have to make a decision.

I didn't realize that all of the drs are from RS of NY:
Lydic, San Roman, Cain
There's also Dr. Chu, but she's out of the way and now with DS I've got to have an RE that is close to home.
I went to Dr. Brenner and loved him and his staff, but if HIP will pay for IUI's and especially the meds, I've go to give it a try.

Where are you at in TTC? Do you have to do IVF or IUI?
Dr. Lydic used to be my Dr. As of a couple of months ago, he doesn't have an IVF lab - he was using another practices... not sure about now though b/c he's getting ready to move (or maybe he has by now- not sure).
Dr. San Roman I 'think' is at RSNY but not positive- I had made an appointment w/ his office after I had made one at LI-IVF but changed my mind after I went to LI-IVF b/c we knew we were in the right place and wanted to get started...
I don't know about Dr. Cain though... sorry. Hopefully someone else will have more info for you!

NSUH - I see Dr. Rosenfeld and he takes HIP. All the doctors in that practice take HIP as well! If you need any phone numbers, let me know!

I don't have HIP, but check with East Coast and RSNY, they are really the only ones near to you.
Cain and SanRoman work out of RSNY
You got PG on an IUI, so an IUI should work fine for you.

..thanks, Gerty, that's what we're counting on. Neither of our insurances covers IVF, so we are praying that the IUI's will work again.
