Anyone's DH/father etc... put up a PVC fence up on their own
My dad is pretty handy and he said if we wanted he'd put up a PVC fence up on his own with my FIL...just get everything at lowes or HD....anyone do this...I love my dad, but dont' want our fence blowing over when the gusts go over 15MPH

LOL...my DH put PVC fencing all around the backyard of his parents house with the help of his friend...its been several years and no issues.

We hired someone, but our neighbors did it themselves and bought from HD. I think the HD/Lowes quality of PVC is much worse--maybe you can order from a real company instead of buying from there. Theirs just feels really flimsy compared to ours.

they can totally do it themselves, but HD/lowes has the worst pricing for it.
go to a fence company and buy it. if you need places to look, wait for your weekly pennysaver, there are always a bunch of local places with prices listed.

DH and my Dad did it together. I was only a 4' x 20' white picket fence but, they did a great job! Its not that hard. I think the hardest part is the posts (digging, leveling, etc).

My DH is a contractor and he did ours himself, he just bought it from the fence supply house.

My DH did this last year, a year ago to be exact...its not hard. The only thing that gets tricky is making sure everything is straight and digging the holes for the posts.

we priced it out doing it ourselves and having a fence company do it and the difference in price was only a few hundred $$$ to me the time we would have spent putting it in wasnt worth saving the $$$
