Anyone's child get styes?
Since starting preschool in September, DD (3.5 years) has had a stye in her eye I think 4 or 5 times.
I know they're harmless....but it's driving me nuts. I tell her to keep her dirty fingers out of her eyes, but apparently she doesn't always do that.
Anybody else have a child that gets them?

Dd (3) got one a few weeks ago.
The ped says just put warm compresses on every now and then to drow out the moisture. Other then that, there is not much you can do.

My child doesn't but I do. They do make an ointment that you can put on to make it feel better.

I used to get them frequently as a kid/teenager.
I really don't know how to prevent them other than trying to not touch your eyes.
Hope she grows out of it soon!

Yes. I go by the soak with warm washcloth & don't touch your eyes theory. Easier said than done when they're toddlers.
