anyone's baby not like rice ceral or oatmeal

I am a total loss, tried rice creal for a week and a half and really DS did not like at all, then have tried oatmeal the past two days and am getting the same reaction Its not like he is having a reaction as everything else seems normal but he just doesn't seem to like the taste--makes the same are you kidding me face whenever I give him either. Id like to move on to fruits and veggies but now not sure I should and am not going to pedi for another two weeks?? Is that normal?

Try barley. I mostly only give DS barley b/c his digestive system reacted the best to it.

I mixed formula with Barley and Jared loved it. Then I introduced fruits mixed in with the formula and barley. He didn't like rice or oatmeal at all either.
