Anyone work in a bank? Check question
I rented a house back in December and I placed a $400 deposit. A deposit check was just refunded to me. It clearly states in the numerical box, $600 ($200 more than what I'm entitled). In the written portion, the owner of the house left it blank. What should I do? I dont want to ask for another check because it was like pulling teeth just to get this check. I dont want to fill it in either because isnt that forgery?

I'd call your bank or the bank of the issuer and ask what to do
