The game is called "what I really WANTED to say"

Real life scene:
PG wife is cleaning bathroom after it has been showing some signs of neglect. Bathroom has a poor excuse for an exhaust fan and no windows. Husband sits on the floor in front of TV watching law and order:

Husband: Ugh, honey, what are you doing? That stuff smells so strong it's burning my eyes

Wife: I'm cleaning the bathroom and it needs to soak

What bI wanted to say is...





















You think YOUR eyes are burning, your poor son's eyes are probably melting out of his little sockets! Maybe you should get up off the floor and do this like I have asked 10000000 times since you are clearly not pregnant!

scenario: wife comes home after a long day at work and a late OB appointment. DH, who put the baby to bed over an hour ago, is sitting on the couch watching TV.

wife starts washing the enormous pile of dishes in the sink even though her back is killing her.

DH: do you need anything?

Me: no.

what i really wanted to say?

what i NEED is for you to do the goddamn dishes yourself!! why i am always stuck doing them? i am growing a HUMAN over here for crissake!!







needless to say DH got the silent treatment for a while and he did all the dishes tonight

I am not "good" like you are. I tell DH or who ever it is what needs to be done or I hire someone to do it.
