anyone use VONAGE?

We have had it for the past month and just recently in the middle of a phone call the phone cuts out- you are still connected and can hear the person on the other end, but they can't hear you at all. Anyone expierence this? My DH is calling Vonage when he gets home later. I hate not having a reliable phone!

We have opt. voice. Mike works for cablevision and has heard some real horror stories with Vonage!

We had opt. voice for 2 years as our office line and had MAJOR problems! We had to keep having them come to "fix" the opt. modem or replace it. It also caused problems for our computer and my parent's computer (they just recently got it and now they switched back b/c of all the problems) My DH's friends have Vonage and had NO problems. I'm starting to think about going back to the good old land lines! So far I"m not happy with Vonage also.
