Anyone use the kid camp on a cruise?

We are going on a Carnival Cruise with family and they want to leave the kids there for a few hours a day. I am not 100% on it and am trying to do some research. Has anyone ever left thier kid's? My boys are almost 4 and potty trained and I think they would have a good time, but DH is leery.

Re: Anyone use the kid camp on a cruise?

My kids loved it.
We were on Carnival this past April
My son is 4 1/2 and my daughter is 2
They both couldn't wait to get backt o camp each morning or after we got back from the islands.
I really think that dinner with the camp was so much better for the kids. although we take our children out to eat often; 2 hours in the dining room for 8 nights was too much for them. They loved the camp!!
we didn't keep them in the camp all day long. just a few hours here and there. We checked the Camp Carnival Capper, so the kids could tell us which camp activities that wanted to do, and we made sure they were at camp at those times. My son was so sad to leave the ship he had such a good time, mostly because of the camp.

YES!!! It was awesome!! Andrew was just 2 so he couldn't go for a long time but we put him in for a few hours while at port. Next yr when we go there will be so much more for him to do.

It is sooo clean and the camp counselors are soo nice!!!

They give you a cell phone that is attached to each child or family so they can reach you if they need you.

Sometimes I enjoyed the break too much and would be a little late and they would call meChat Icon

It is very well secured and I fell so safe with him in Camp Carnival.

Thanks, DH is worried that we don't know who we are leaving our kids with. When they are left at home we know thier sitter and the teachers at thier preschool.
