Anyone use Kiddie Academy daycare?

Do you like it?

They are the only place that I found that is open until 7pm.

Any feedback would be great.

TIA!

Re: Anyone use Kiddie Academy daycare?

I looked at the one in St. James (Flowerfield).

It was beautiful and clean, and the children appeared happy and well kept. The room my 2 year old would have been in was very nice and seemed well run, but my priority was that it have a great pre-k curriculum for my older son, and I wasn't too impressed in that aspect.

ETA my friend's niece used to work at the one in either Commack or E Northport and she LOVED it.

We went to check the one in Hicksville. We really liked it but they did not have any room for us.

I looked at it. It's my second choice.

Jut so you know each one is independently owned and operated.

My kids go to KA but in NJ. We love it. They are 2 and 8 mos. I especially love that they have cameras in the classroom so you can log on from work and watch your kids during the day. They are very organized and they have so many activities for the kids at least ours does.

I love that idea about the cameras and logging online to see the kids. I think that's awesome!

They don't have them at every location, at least not the one I looked at.

Just FYI - the Commack one (by Costco and Target) is closing

I thought it closed a long time ago when they built those other stores? I know my friend sent her child there a while back.

Re: Anyone use Kiddie Academy daycare?

Thanks - I called Tutor Time in Syosset and they do not have any spots open until next fall! Chat Icon

I visited the Hickville one yesterday and liked it. I called the Syosset location today on a whim and it's $50 cheaper a week there, so I am going there on Friday.

Both DH and I commute to NYC, so Hicksville would be better bc there are more trains, by the Syosset line works to....

I still like Miss Debbie's in Plainview the best, but they are only open until 6pm and dont have extended hours.
