Anyone use ING?

I'm thinking of opening an ING savings account. Anyone use them and have feedback?

Re: Anyone use ING?

i have used them for a while. they are great. they don't have the best interest out there. i think emigrant is similar and has a little higher rate.

We've had an account with them for about 4 1/2 years now. I am very happy with them and their customer service has always been helpful.

I got an ING account before I got married. Then when we got married, my husband also got ING. Then we are able to link our accounts.

No, I get a better rate with my Wamu Online Savings Account. 4.75% and you can use it in the bank if you wanted to.

I love it too. Just opened up an IRA account with them for my dh as it is easier than dealing with the credit union.

ive had an account with them for about 1 1/2 years... so far, no problems at all! love earning some good interest money every month!!
the only thing is that it takes a few days for the money to get transferred out if you need it... its not like instantly available if you were to need it for something.

That's why I would look into one of the bank ones, it's better if you need the money right away. I know the Wamu one allows you to take the money out in branch, not sure about other banks.

I agree. I have it with Citibank and my rate is 5%. It's linked to al of my accounts.

We switching from ING to Wamu for this reason also. We have had our own accounts since we met but finally got our act together and made everything joint when we moved.

We checked out a lot of other banks that offer high interest savings and checking accounts in a brick-and-mortar bank and Wamu was the best for us.

Not to mention the branches are super convenient for both of our jobs and home.
