Anyone use Florastor probiotics?
I was just at CVS and the pharmacist suggested Florastor Kids probiotics - I bought them - anyone have experience? I used Culturelle before. DS is 6 months.

i used them when DD was on meds for her ear infections. I never used anything else before.
I myself take acidophillus so I knew why she was taking it.
As for DD taking it, mix in it the cereal or with some fruit. I also only gave half the packet. Very very yeast smelling, and her urine smelled that way as well.

We also used it when DS was on meds for an ear infection. He was 3months and we used half a package every other day for 10 days. I just put it in the formula.

I give the probiotics every day. Do you think its ok to keep using it? I was goign to do one packet in the formula each day - that's what I do with the culturelle.

We used it when DS had diarrhea, its supposed to help for that, otherwise it makes them (as well as adults very gassy) Its perfectly safe used daily. Otherwise we use BioGaia, it doesn't make him gassy.
At 5m we introduced yogurt (as per our peds recommendations) we introduce solids at 4m.

I took the adult version when DD was a nb. She had awful baby acne and between the Florastor and Zana Juice it disapeared within a couple weeks. Not sure about the kids version, the adult one is a form of good yeast. Either way..it was great and had some terrific reviews too. If it's $$ like the adult version, check amazon.com, they may have it there too. The regular was much cheaper compared to CVS.

Yes. Ds and I both got C diff from antibioitic usage and used them. They are wonderful. But, pricey. There is a coupon on the website for them. Also Target has (the adult at least) them at much cheaper prices.
