Anyone toddler have a queen size bed?
Since I'm pregnant with number 2 we are moving DD 3 into a big girl room and using her current room as the nursery. The room we are moving her into has a queen size bed I don't want to get rid of it. What do you use as far as safety goes bed rails? Also bedding issues?

DD is in a full size bed, haven't bought rails yet, currently its just a mattress on the floor and the box spring is standing against the wall. I have noticed that kids sheets are now offered in full and queen too

Our oldest went from our bed King to own bed Queen at 3 with no rails and did just fine...

Oldest went to a full size bed, we didn't use bed rails just pushed it up against the wall so one side was at the wall.
She loves it!

G is in the queen size bed. We put the box spring and mattress on the floor with no frame. It is fine. We just recently put the frame on.

DS was only in a toddler bed for 3 months, he was in a queen sized bed with no rails at 3 years old and did fine, but he doesn't move around a ton other than turning over occasionally.

DS is in a Queen and has the long bed rails, but he's also all over the place. Not so much anymore, but when he first got the big bed he'd be all over like in a crib. Now mainly sleeps on the pillow at 3.5, but occasionally I find him up against the rail so I'm glad we are keeping them on.

Just make sure that the matress isn't leaning up against any plugs. My parents had a house fire because my brothers matress was right up against a plug. The fire marshall said matresses should be 6 inches from outlets.

Yes, Tommy is in a full size bed (converted from the crib) and I bought side rails at Target - the brand is Munchkin. No issues. It's a little big for him but he will grow into it :)
