yes, every year since DH and I moved in together before we got married, we have a holiday party and invite our friends and siblings (no "grown ups" aka parents and grandparents or children).

We have cocktails (wine, beer etc.) and all appetizers and desserts. it's alot of fun and everyone looks forward to coimng to our house.

I just decorate my house with my regular Christmas decorations, nothing else.

We do one every year for our friends. We are having the fifth one this year!

We buy lots of liquor and boxes of appetizers from BJs. My house is already decked out for the holidays.

We have a holiday party every year - it's become a tradition.

Decorations: just the ones we normally use to decorate the house for Christmas

Food: we ask that everyone coming bring their favorite appetizer to share with the group. We also buy boxes of apps from BJ's to have on hand as well.

Drinks: plenty of beer, wine, egg nog - last year we made individual peppermint martinis, while they were good, they were a PITA. This year, I think we are just going to make a pitcher of them and leave it in the fridge for guests to help themselves. We are also introducing cinnamon-bourbon milk into the mix this year.
