Anyone see/hear about the flipped SUV
on Indian Head Rd. in Kings Park this afternoon?
I was told that it was a 17 yr old that took a turn too fast and flipped, but he walked away OK...but that wasn't from a very reliable source. It was messy - I  that everyone involved is OK!

I didn't hear. I bet my MIL will know something. I think she's the unofficial mayor of Kings Park.

No, but there was a flipped car on the Belt Parkway tonight, and I saw that. How weird that there were two in the same night!
I was driving back to brooklyn, and there was a ton of traffic. When I got by JFK, I saw why: there was a car completely upside down in the left lane. How can a car flip over in the left lane? It's not like it was run off the road. All 3 eastbound lanes of the Belt were shut down for an hour, apparently, because they couldn't figure out how to move the car to the side of the road (it being upside down, they couldn't tow it).

its scary, isn't it?
I saw this SUV get flipped back on its wheels - the shattering glass, crunching metal made quite a noise.
It was TOTALLY upside down - all 4 wheels were spinning in the air.

Yes, it was awful. It made me a feel pretty shaken up for the rest of my ride home. I hope the people in the car got out of there okay... I turned on 1010 WINS for info, but they were only talking about it in terms of the traffic jam it caused.
