Since Dh and I cancelled our wedding... we havent told anyone:
A. That we are already married
B. That there is no longer a wedding coming up
So I wanted to send out cute little announcements, but personal...
Jut saying we got married on 7/22/2005, and due to the birth of our son, and my father deployment, we were no longer be having our BIG wedding... I wanna emphasize on the fact that with RJ's birth... its just no longer as important to us...
I was thinking like a cute rhyming poem.... anyone wanna take on the task?
Im usually real good.... but I just cant collect my thoughts... even writing what I want it to say is not coming out right!

I'm not certain what you are exactly looking for but I just made this up...perhaps this can help you to make up something else or you can change this around.....
A Big Wedding is no longer in our plans
As we got married July 22th, 2005
Instead we got a wonderful surprise
A New Baby to hold in our arms
His name is RJ and he’s our dream come true
Therefore our wedding planning is no longer part of our lives
But we hope someday you can meet RJ too
And you will understand all the happiness we feel too.
Our baby makes us feel great
Not only as parents but a couple as well
Looking forward that you meet him someday.

We had set a date and were hoping to celebrate,
In a grand-style fit for our love.
Last summer life had changed and plans were rearranged.
On July 22th, 2005 our marriage vows were exchanged!
Praying for Marissa’s dad to return safely home,
And preparing for our family that would soon be grown!
Looking forward to the arrival of RJ,
Plans were called off for a grand-style wedding day.
We hope you understand, although not our original plan,
We just wanted to let you know so you didn’t think we forgot,
We wish you could have been there when we tied the knot!
(...Not sure if the grown part makes sense though?)

I have an idea...you can send them a picture of you 2 + baby ryan..if u want, send me the pics and ill be happy to try it out for u in photoshop
