Anyone purchase from bobs furniture?

How is the quality and are they really a better price? I'm looking for a small reclining loveseat and don't want to break the bank I can't think of anywhere else!?

They seem to be the cheapest around, but IMO you can get better quality for not too much more money. We decided against bob's for a sofa after reading reviews & spent a few hundred extra for better quality.

I hear mixed reviews. I've been eyeing a dining room set there...a good friend bought hers over 3 years ago and it's in perfect condition-no complaints. However i hear things on these boards that some people think the furniture doesn't hold it's quality.

I think I might go ahead and take the chance with it. It's a great price and I'll know to make sure to take good care of it to hopefully extend it's life!

There was just a thread about Bob's last week.

IMO, not worth it to buy from there. IMO, the quality of the furniture was terrible and we wound up replacing what we bought when it broke after 7 months. We had the warranty in place but the problem was structural to the furniture and it would have just happened over and over again.

we furnished our whole house from Bobs... no complaints so far... been about 6 months.

i think you will get mixed views on their furniture, but DH and I purchased practically all of our furniture from there (living room set, dining room, kitchen table and buffet, bedroom set).. for like 10k so it was good for us being that we used all this money for the downpayment of our house. The only issue i had was that some of the pieces arrived broken upon delivery, but they re-ordered it for us and came back on a new truck a week later. So far all is good w/ the furniture.

when we jsut shopped for reclining couches we found most of the reclining ones to feel to flimsy and cheap.
we ended up buying them from Raymour and flannigan and are much happier with the quality.

Better to spend a little more to get a LOT more quality...we are very unhappy with the couch we purchased from Bob's...unhappy enough that when we move out of this apartment the couch is staying here.

We have a lot of furniture from Bob's. Our entire livingroom and bedroom is furnished with their stuff. I would recommend that you get the Goof Proof insurance though. One of the drawers of our dresser broke and when they came to fix it it was not repairable. Since we had the GP they brought us a brand new dresser for free!
