anyone own a boat?
on the southshore?
we are in the process of purchasing a boat and was just wondering what places are out there on the southshore that you travel to that you really enjoy ?
also if you drydock it what place do you use?

I don't, but my FIL owns a boat and he always goes to Gilgo beach.

we are memember of freedom boat club (thanks Dad!) and we always go to fire island- you can call and resereve a slip for the day- or do what my DH does - he anchors and swims in- after he drops me and the other girls off on the dock with towels and everything -

My IL's have their boat docked in Dockside in Patchogue. We take the boat several times over the summer to Davis Park at Fire Island.

We own a boat
We usually go over to Fire Island
Usually Sailors Haven, Tallisman and Barrett Beach
Can't help with the docking - we have a dock space at someones house
