me i'm gonna be 6 weeks in 2 days. i went to the dr last week just to confirm and my next appt is in days, i'll have myfirst sono to see the baby and god willing see a heartbeat. its all so exciting and so nerve wracking!

I'll be six weeks tomorrow - have my first sono next Tuesday. Can't wait - hopefully then it will seem more real to me!!!!

Me - I'm either 5 or 6 weeks depending upon how they calculate it (I have longer than 28 day cycles). I am a nervous wreck, can't relax. Does anyone know what to expect at the first drs appt? I have mine this coming Wed. I think I will be 6 weeks exactly on Wed if I am in fact 5 now. My symptoms include bloating, some headaches, backaches. No morning sickness, which is concerning me, but I guess not everyone gets it. I hope the dr sees a heartbeat on Wed, I know I will freak out if he does not.
I'm glad you posted this, I felt alone at times since it seems like most of the posters on here are much further along.

I was concerned about having no morning sickness and lower backaches. Around 8 or 9 weeks, I threw up once and would experience nausau from time ttom time. I know it's hard, but relax. Morning sickness can kick in in a few weeks or it may never, and then you're a lucky one, like me :)

Me!!! I will be seven weeks on Tuesday. I think this last week the MS and fatigue have really kicked in! I saw the heartbeat at my first sono when I was five weeks and five days :) My next sono is at 12 weeks but the time seems to be flying!

me. went for my 7 week appt to find im only 5 weeks(apparently dates screwed up b/c of previous m/c)
so i went back for my 6 week appt with dh and saw heartbeat(so worried b/c i couldnt figure out how i would be 2 weeks behind)
going back in 2 weeks for 8-9 week appt ( I guess to try and hear the hb?) I am getting another sono then.
definately tired & gassy  . . Headaches kicked in at week 5.

Me too.. I'm 6 weeks.
I already went for 1 sono, going back this friday to see if they can see the heartbeat.
I hope the week goes fast..

Wow - there re so many of us! I have low back pain and bloating.... I had one episode of sever nausea and nothing since...

Im 10 weeks!! The only symptom I had at 4-7 weeks was sore boobs....then after 7 weeks I started to get nauseous(possibly from my prenatal vitamin), my boobs grew alot and my sense of smell is so good---which is a bad thing because it seems that I mostly smell bad smells and then get nausous....I never knew that water had such a bad smell before!!

I am 6w2d. We went for our first sono this past Friday at 5w6d and saw the heartbeat!! We are going for another sono next Wednesday.
So far I just have sore boobs and bloated. Over the past week the fatigue has kicked in, along with some queasiness. No actual m/s yet - and I am hoping it stays that way!

Well, I recently left it (14 weeks now), but someone asked what to expect at the first appt.
You will give a lot of blood--they do a lot of blood tests, also a urine test so that's one part. Depending upon your doctor, you may have an ultrasound, and they will weigh you, check hands and legs for swelling, take your blood pressure, etc. My doctor also did a pelvic exam and a pap test, though I read somewhere not all doctors do that.
You'll talk to your doctor afterwards, and this is a good chance to ask the million and one questions you probably have, so make a list.
