Re: anyone on bedrest?

I am not on bedrest but I am on NYS disability due to the hypermesis and not working right now.

I was out about 11-12 days in a matter of like 3 months before we made this decision, b/c I was calling in sick once-twice a week. My job was ok with it. They couldnt say much. but Im not entitled to FMLA or any short or long term disability.....So if my NYS disability is denied for any reason, I have been advised I will be let go from my position, but Im not capable of working, I tired..so I am just praying it all works out.

I dont need to be on bedrest because Im capable of moving around etc...Im just nauseous all the time and not getting enough food so I feel weak at work and my job doesnt want me throwing up at my desk either which is where I was when I left off.

Im 23 weeks now and the Dr's keep on telling me that hopefully it will end soon and honestly I have good and bad days and am thinking about trying to return to work very shortly.

I feel for ya.

Im getting BORED here.....

I am being hit at angles. I have Hyperemesis-the nausea has been coming and going. The Zofran worked for a little but now I am noticing that my food is NOT digesting period. I have a condition called gastroparesis and we thought I would get this later around 20weeks but looks like its starting really early. My doc hopes the Hyperemesis ends around 12 weeks. but the Gastroparesis is preexisiting-I feel so screwed.

How long have you been on bedrest?

It got to the point where work was rough at like 15 weeks...I have been out since mid Jan. So like 3 and 1/2 weeks now.
