Anyone not have gestational diabetes with their first pregnancy but have it with their second?
I take my 3 hour test tomorrow and am worried that I'll fail. Never had it with my first pregnancy so I wonder how common it is to have it with your 2nd but nt your 1st

It can happen. I don't know how common it is though.
I know that if you have it with your first, chances are you will with your 2nd. I got lucky the 2nd time around (I had it with #1, but not #2)

Not me because this is my first, but my mother did not have it with me, and did with my sister. However, it's possible she did with me and didn't know it because they didn't test for it in 85, but did in 89. My sister was a few ounces lighter and an inch smaller than I was, so there goes the theory of it causing larger babies too.

my sister had it with her second. Although it was very borderline.
