Me! Its a Jewish tradition not to celebrate the baby until she is here.
I also think its greedy. I feel like its a hand out for a gift before the baby comes. Plus most people get a gift for the baby when its born, like a naming, Bris, Christening, Baptism, etc...

me.
not a shower person, i don't like the idea of having parties for the sake of gifts. we'll have a christening (small, immediate family and friends), but no shower...just not our style...

I didn't want one after the nightmare my bridal shower turned into, but my grandmother had been in a coma during it and was really upset she missed it, so we had a baby shower just for her sake. Should have skipped it, too much drama once again.

I never had one with either child.
Didnt want one.. I guess I felt sort of embaressed like it looked like I was asking for gifts BUT I do kinda wish I had, a part of me feels like I missed out.
I was thinking MAYBE having a sprinkle with this one..

I wont be having one either. It's not traditional for me since I am Jewish.
I also will not be bringing in furniture, etc. until the baby arrives

I did not want one. To me you've been to one you've been to them all and I have been to my share and I personally think it is quite boring to sit there and watch gifts being opened, ooohing and aaahing, everything, etc...
We didn't register either, we went ahead and bought her all she needs ourselves  Besides people are going to send whatever they want after she arrives regardless, gifts, money, etc...

I won't be having a shower...don't want one, and I'm Jewish. However, I will prepare the nursury beforehand...I'm such a planner, that I couldn't wait til the last minute.

Yeah soooo much drama surrounding mine (which I wasn't even supposed to know) but now that I know I just feel it would be better not to have one. Just wondering why other people didn't
