Anyone NOT Feeling the Baby?
Anyone still not feeling the baby at 20+ weeks?
I'm at 22.5 weeks and so far haven't feel anything except some poking after some caffeine intake 2 weeks ago.
Should I be concerned? Or is my baby just a heavy sleeper?
Anyone else not feeling anything yet?

Re: Anyone NOT Feeling the Baby?
I'm 21 weeks and not really feeling anything either. Maybe just "the bubbles" here and there. When I went for my anatomy screen a few weeks back, the tech said my placenta is in the front so it will probably take me longer than average to really feel anything.

Re: Anyone NOT Feeling the Baby?
I just started feeling kicks at 21 weeks although I felt flutters before that. Your baby could just be in a position where it's difficult to feel movement or the placenta could be acting as a cushion. I wouldn't be concerned.

I'm 19 weeks today and nothing yet- but with my DS I was close to 22 weeks...I also read that w/ placenta previa it can take longer and I have that...You will before you know it

Same here regarding the placenta - my doc said bc mine is in the front is absorbing a lot of the movement. At 27 weeks he is getting a lot stronger, but I still have quiet days. At 21 weeks I barely felt a thing except the occassional flutter.

If that's true about the placenta it would explain why I'm not feeling anything. Since I carry in the front I suppose the placenta is also in the front....
Thanks for everyone's responses!

Re: Anyone NOT Feeling the Baby?
I seem to remember you saying that you're quite small--I think that might have to do with it. I always thought I would take longer to feel the baby since I am overweight, but I felt her really early, about 16 weeks.
Apparently it has to do with the muscle tone in your stomach. The thinner you are and the better your muscle tone, the longer it takes to feel movement. That's what I've heard, anyway.

It was right around 22 and 1/2 weeks when I finally started feeling DD. I bet you'll feel your baby more and more this week!

Re: Anyone NOT Feeling the Baby?
Don't worry I think I was 23 weeks before I felt the baby and it was a random thing in the beginning. It will eventually get more consistent.
