Anyone NOT....?
Anyone not Getting their partner a "dad to be" gift for Father's Day??
He isn't into the #1 Dad type stuff. So I got a card from me and one from the little one, going to make a nice breakfast for him also.
Just feeling guilty I haven't gotten him anything. (He got me a card and took me to dinner for Mother's Day, no gift)

I'm not. We both decided to not really celebrate this year and to go big next year for both mother's and father's day.

Yeah, we're still early (15 weeks), it's just too early, it's like celebrating before winning the big game. We're just not comfortable with that. Next year we'll celebrate.

I'm not and he didn't get me a mother's day gift - we decided ahead of time this doesn't count as our "first one" - so we're going to wait until next year.

We didn't do anything for mothers/fathers day before DD was born. For me, I wanted my first celebration of mothers day to be when I had a baby in my arms.
Everyone is different, if a card and a nice meal is what works for you guys, no need to feel guilty about not getting a gift just because other people do gifts. Enjoy the day together :)

as my due date is the 19th and DH have been obsessed w/baby wearing  I got him the ergo carrier. But that is only b/c he really wants it and the baby is due any day now.
He didn't get me anything for mother's day and I didn't expect anything. Much funner with a baby already out and about IMO

This. We didn't even consider it before DD was born. I find it weird. Sort of like celebrating your wedding anniversary before your actual wedding.

We never did.IMO it has always seemed silly to me to give gifts for mother's or father's day before you're actually a parent. Save it for next year when it will mean something.
