Anyone live in the Connetquot School District?
Were moving a week from today to Roinkonkoma. My children will be starting school next Wednesday. Id love to help them make some new friends in the area. Would also love some tips as to where to go. Parks, Indoor play places etc.
My children are 3, 6 and 11.

DS is 9 and DD is 6. The Connetquot Youth Soccer League is still taking signups. http://www.connetquotyouthsoccerleague.org/
I'm the coach for both DC's teams. The library has a lot of activities. There's an indoor go-kart track nearby. http://www.karts1.com/ There's a couple of bounce houses very close to the airport. Raynor Beach park is very popular. It's on the east side of the lake. There's a community street fair this weekend on Hawkins avenue.

I am in Ronkonkoma also. It's a great place to live. Lots of local parks, the library is great, Ralphs is on portion rd (YUM) . The schools are great also.
I am more towards Vets highway but still Connetquot school district. My sons school is great. Lots of activities. The CYA offers soccer, baseball.

Our soccer league is always looking for more coaches and asst coaches, so you will definitely be welcomed with open arms if you volunteer! I'm coaching in the 5/6 division, and the 7/8/9 division, so if you're in any of those groups, you'll definitely see me.

I looked into it and considered it for a couple minutes... then I remembered I have 2 other children that would need to be watched during practice and games. My 11 year old is not responsible enough to watch my 3 year old even at the field. I would want to give 100% to my players but think my attention would be so divided. Too stressful. Then in the morning you have to get their early to set up and afterwards put equipment back into storage? I think it might be too much, unless another parent offered to babysit LOL
