we're renting a uhaul to go shopping! lol i cant wait. it sucks not having furniture.

Keep in mind you can't take the Northern State with that truck, you'll have to do the LIE but they are literally parallel to each other at that point.

you definitley need a SUV or to rent a UHAUL..one of my bff's and I rented a UHAUL to go to IKEA and it was perfect for getting mass amounts of stuff. To rent it for one day...is the best route!
when dh and I went, we took the SUV and to say it was  experience is an understatement. dh is not the handy type, unless you have a computer or tv issue. he could not get the stuff tied on the roof, i had to climb up and do it myself.
ETA: Go Early!!!!! The crazy IKEA ppl go in the afternoon and they will run you over with their cart!
