If you are in Nassau, you would use Nassau Digital Doorway .
Browse for books and download what you want.

If you are in Suffolk, you need the Overdrive Media Console app. My library sends you to this page for eBook downloads
Live-brary
I've found that my librarians don't know too much about it and send me to their website for info.

I thought u needed AD Editions and Apple doesn't support that. I just downloaded an app called Bluefire reader on my iPad as it converts ADE to iPad. I have a book on my nook right now so I will try it after I finish this book and let you know what I think.
