Anyone know anything about these pediatricians?
Starting the search and trying to line up interviews. Just wondering if anyone has feedback on these doctors. Most I got from my doctor and one I found searching my insurance online.
Dr. Berger (ProHealth Care Pediatrics)
Dr. Inguagiato (MDs for Kids)
Dr. Turow
Dr. Barash

almost all my friends with kids are using dr TUROW so we'll be using him too after DS is born.
never met him cuz they don't give interview appt. you can talk to their office manager or their receptionist. however, i had a medical question for him and he had to find the answers from other doctors, he called me everyday for 4 days straight to let me know he was still waiting for that doctor to get back to him. i thought that was pretty impressive since i never met him and he didn't know if i'm definately going to use him.

Great Neck/New Hyde Park/Manhasset area.

Dr Berger saw my DD in the hospital and he was very nice. She had jaundice and he went out of his way to make sure she came home with me (and we weren't even using him as our pedi).

i sure you can just drop by but i didn't bother to. i know they don't have a separate well or sick room.
want to mention that my friend was doing his residency at north shore and worked with him a while back. all the patients there loved him and they left with him when he opened his practice. this friend referred all these friends going to his office now.

Dr. Berger belongs to the practice that my kids go to. I have seen him before when I just needed to bring them in if one of them is sick and my Ped is out of the office. Dr Lange is my kids pediatrician and will be for my next baby. They are very nice when you are bringing your newborn in they give you early appts so that they are not exposed to others who may or maynot be sick. The nurses call you right back if you have a  My OB/GYN is part of Prohealth as well. There are alot of depts there. I Love them there.
