Anyone know a baby gate that would work here?

In a similar situation we used heavy duty plastic zip ties (like those plastic handcuffs) to attach a plank of wood to the rail (leftover from our hardwood floor installation), and then we could attach a baby gate to it as if it were a wall. It was a weird angle though so we used the Kidco Angle Mount Safeway Gate, which i think we got at Buy Buy Baby. It sounds Frankensteinish, but our rail, the wooden board, and the gate are all the same color so most ppl don't notice there is anything funky going on.
And I guess you would have to attach the wood plank to the two rails on the second step so that the plank stays stable.

They sell specific things to attach to railings. You would mount it on the wall on the other side.

We had a babyproofer make us a custom gate. It wasn't easy & did involve putting in a wooden plank & screwing the swinging side to the wall.
It was well worth it though! We have used it for 5 years & will use it for more (DC #3 on the way!). Our 5 year old can put his entire weight & swing from the gate.

We did something similar to this, with the zip ties and a wooden plank.

Anyone know a baby gate that would work here?
I basically have the same staircase. DH made a box of wood to go around the curvy part. He screwed it in and attached the gate to it. It's hard to explain- I'll see if I can take a pic and post it!

Anyone know a baby gate that would work here?
We skipped the wood option as we didnt like the way it looked but if you go on amazon , you can look up- Dreambaby bannister gate adapters... They have worked amazing for us and our set- up is similar to the one in your album.
