Anyone interested
in joining mommy and me @ safety swim??? Im looking into the one in Coram...
It starts mid May... and its $65 (they are running some promotional thing) for 6 weeks...
They have a Monday @ 1:00, or a Sat @ 2:00, I can do either one, so I guess the most vote wins!!
Let me know!

At what age can they start? Carlie will be 5 months at the end of May.

Re: Anyone interested
you can do swim lessons at 2 months so I would think 5 months would be fine

Re: Anyone interested
You should also check at the parks. Last summer the pools at Eisenhower and Wantagh parks did lessons for infants and it was a lot cheaper than that. I'm sure more parks do, I just didn't look into any others.

Well Im kinda looking for the spring, because I can take him in our pool in the summer...
I think the mommy and me program, is more of just "for fun" rather than lessons...The child will not be worked with by the instructors, only by you...
However- they do offer "swim lessons"... and I think for infants they are free...

I gotcha. I assumed that safety swin only did lessons. Good to know that they have other classes too.

Yea- for me... Im just not comfortable having someone else "Handle" my child in the water...not this young...
They told me its more of singing songs, and playing type of things..

Re: Anyone interested
I am interested! I have a 5 month old and my friend has a 3 month old. We were talking about joining the Safety Swim class the other day. Do you know if there is a website? I would like more info.

Re: Anyone interested
I would be interested. Abby is nine months old right now. I can only do the Saturday session though because I work all week.
If you want to do Saturday I would definitely be up for it. It is so close to my house too.
How long is each session for, 30 min, and hour?
Edited because I can not spell today.
