anyone here not feel any contractions in labor?
Other post prompted this. I didn't because I had epi done as soon as I went into hospital. I have no idea what a real contraction feels like.

I felt them but they weren't as intense as I thought they would be.
This was of course before I got an epi at about 5 cm.
They were uncomfortable, and yes, painful at times, but I am a huge wimp and was suprised at how well I was handling them.
But again- I have no clue what they would have been like after that point- because I got that blessed, blessed epi!

Me! With DS1 I went to the hospital to get induced. I was almost 10 days late. They hooked me to the machine and said that I was contracting every min to min in a half. Told them I didn't feel anything.
I wound up with a crash c, but that's a whole other thing.
DS2 I had a sched c and when I went in they also said I was contracting, but nicely. Still had no clue and felt fine

I was in labor and didn't know it. I had these weird feelings, but just thought the baby was pushing down real low. After sitting around the hospital waiting for my c-section I finally started to feel them hours later. No where near as painful as I expected them to be, but I have a pretty high tolerance for pain.

me  but i never went into labor and ended up with a C. I have never felt a real contraction.

I felt them but not all of them. I told my ob that the contractions were anywhere between 4 and 12 minutes apart lol...they were pretty steady 4 mins apart...I just wasn't feeling all of them! when she hooked me up to the monitor she said "when was the last contraction you felt?" and I said "when I was just in the bathroom" she said "well you just had two while talking to me so thats why your counts were off with the contraction timer"

I was induced, never went into Labor and ended up having a C.
