anyone have this toy?.. is it safe?
My sil and bil gave us this toy yesterday for my dd. I was wondering how safe it is for a one year old. I was going to exchange it but but someone decided to open it and put it together for dd and i couldnt exactly say no right there in front of SIL/BIL

Melissa (Meltoddjulia) has this toy. It's adorable. Maybe not for a one year old...but I would keep it because it's fun.

Santa brought this for my daughter last Christmas. She was a little under 18 months at the time, and she LOVED it. I think 12-18 mos. need a bit of assistance to ride it. Just to make sure their tush doesn't slide off the back. But, after that...they'll just LOVE it. My daughter still plays with it, almost a full year later...and she bounces like she's riding a bull! It's very sturdy b/c of the way they built the base.

DD got this for her birthday. She was a bit scared of it at first, even with assistance, but now at 16 months she really knows how to giddy-up!! Just the other day, she was riding it so happily and vigorously that she let go (had both hands in the air) and fell off!
If you asked me 3 months ago, I would've said I don't like it. But, now it's GREAT!!

we have it and have had it for 9 months now. olivia loves it. at first she couldnt touch the floor but now she bops around on it. she is 20 months now and loves it. i think it is safe. she has never fallen off of it and the first couple times you might want to show her how to use it.

We have it and they like it. They're not able to jump on and off on their own yet, but while they ride, they have a blast.

I have this for my ds he got it for Christmas last yr (he was 1yr 8mos) he didn't use it that much at 1st but about 2yrs he has been spinning around and around like you wouldn't believe. He goes so fast on it, everyone in the house cracks up Oh and no accidents as of yet and my ds is crazy so that being said your dc should do just fine
