Anyone have their ceiling skim coated
I have a sand finish on my living room/dining room ceiling and there are many cracks from the house settling. We have nice smooth walls and crown molding so I really don't want to re-sheetrock. Do you think skim coating would take care of it? Can u recommend anyone?

We just did our entirew house. It was a pretty penny .
but we were doing everything from scratch, moldings, lighting etc. it came out great

Yes! We had our guys take care of the ceiling in our living room which has a textured ceiling - like you mentioned. It's not popcorn ceiling, but had the sand in it to make it textured. And it was cracking all over! It came out so nice.
