Anyone have the Mazda CX9 - we bought it!

Thanks for the feedback ladies! DH bought our new car today and is bringing it home right now.

I'm not too worried about the third row - we have a Toyota Sequoia which is really our family car that has plenty of space for oodles of carseats, so we don't have to rely on the CX9 for that.

The ONLY issue is that DH is under the delusion that this is HIS car - soon enough he'll learn that it's his wife's new car Chat Icon I'll let him play for a few hours and then I swipe the keys

i have it. i like it dont love it. i used the 3rd row often and its really hard putting kids in the 3rd row with car seats in the 2nd row. wish they had an option of captain seats since the middle of the second is useless with two car seats. i wanted the gmc acadia but there were no lease deals at the time. if your planning on having more than 2 its not such a great option. when we have #3 i will have to get either a mini van or a 3rd row thats easier to access.

Question for you - I thought I read that to access the 3rd row on the CX9, you could slide the second row seats forward (not having to fold a seat down). Is this true? And if so, does it not slide forward enough to access the 3rd row and that's why it's hard?

Congrats! You will love it. It's the best car I've ever owned. What color did you get?

To the previous poster who asked- yes, the 2nd row pushes forward to get access to the 3rd. I haven't had any problems with there not being enough room. My 11 year old is always going back there and it's never a problem and I have been back there on occasion myself with no problems.

Congrats! We know someone who has it and loves it. It was a contender for us last year when we were looking but we opted for the Ford Edge instead. Didn't need a 3rd row then.
