Anyone have recurring dreams?
I have a recurring dream where I'm in school and I'm not prepared for either a test or I can't remember my schedule or class location. I have it multiple times a year and it's been happening for the past 5 years, at least. The dreams themselves aren't the same- locations are different, sometimes it's high school, other times it's college. Last night I was in college, I had no idea where some of my classes were because I hadn't attended. I was not prepared for exams and was going to drop those classes but that meant I couldn't graduate on time and I had to explain it to my parents. I have no idea why I keep having dreams like this! Sure I skipped some classes but not excessively and I was always prepared and knew where my classes were. I should start keeping track of what's going on in my life when I have these dreams.

Wow - my husband and I BOTH have almost the same dreams you are describing! I have one where I show up for a final exam and realize that I didn't attend class the whole semester so I'm screwed. Another one is that I keep trying to get to class, or sometimes it's work, but things keep preventing me from getting there and I feel so panicked.
More often than not I have this type of dream on Sunday night. I think it's the subconscious stress of the impending week.

Re: Anyone have recurring dreams?
I do. For the last years I have had a recurring dream (maybe once a month, sometimes more, sometimes less) where my teeth fall. It is in different scenarios, but it usually includes that I'm chewing gum and it gets stuck on my teeth and when I tried to pull, my teeth get loose or fall.

Anyone have recurring dreams?
I have two. Either I work two jobs (usually two jobs that I have had in the past) and I accidentally scheduled myself for both, or I am trying to call 911 and it isn't working.

Re: Anyone have recurring dreams?
I used to have this one dream constantly. I was in a dark parking garage with my nephew. He was little and for some reason I was wearing a trench coat. Some guy with a machine gun came and started shooting at him. I covered Justin and got multiple shots to my back. guy ran off and I rolled to the ground and told Justin I loved him and to run and find his mom for safety. Then I'd bleed out.
I had that dream for YEARS.
probably stemmed from a shooting we witnessed in my old neighborhood when he was a toddler. I went to the store with him for sunblock. My friend was walking across the street but we didn't have the light and I was with him, so I waited for the light then began to walk. I got almost to the other side when there was a shootout a few feet in front of us. I wrapped my entire body around him and ran as fast as I could into a store.

I used to have a dream similar to this. I told the dentist and it relates to something you are jealous of.

Something similar... I am standing at my locker and trying to open it but can't remember the combination.
Or i am in school and forgot to go to class all semester and I am going to fail class.
I also notice when I am trying to read something it feels like it is taking forever. Or if I am trying to write something I can't read what I am writing.

Ive definitely had a few involved with being unable to remember the combination to my locker.

Re: Anyone have recurring dreams?
I have the same one- walking around HS but I don't know my schedule or where my classes are. Or a test that I am not prepared for or a paper that I am not even started on is due like tomorrow.
I always wake up feeling SO relieved I am not in school anymore.
I always thought it was because I found school very stressful and it stayed with me.
Another one I have all the time is I am trying to run and I can't run- I am like pushing off the walls or the ground to try to get moving- it's very disturbing when I have that dream

Just the sensation of falling which freaks me out. Doesn't happen too often. I mostly never remember my dreams.
