Anyone have Hyperstim?
I'm new to LiFamilies and not to good with the lingo. This month I did my first, and hopefully last, IVF cycle. I did my retrieval Sunday and now I have Hyperstim. Tomorrow is my transfer and If I don't feel well I'm thinking about freezing the embryos and transferring next month. Has anybody had Hyperstim and if so what helped you feel better. I woke up Monday night thinking I was dying. I had never had so much pain. Poor DH didn't know what to do for me. I woke up Wed night in a lot of pain on my left side. I have been monitoring my salt, carb and protein intake and feel no difference. Please if anyone has advise it would be greatly appreciated!

Re: Anyone have Hyperstim?
I'm not sure how extreme your OHSS is. I had a very mild case OHSS - nothing extreme. My Dr told me I needed to fill myself with electrolytes. Drink a ton of Vitamin Water/Gatorade. It helped me almost immediately... relieved a lot of bloat.
Your Dr won't transfer if its a severe case.
BEST OF LUCK

Re: Anyone have Hyperstim?
Thanks for the advise.. I went ahead with the transfer even though my Dr said I was on the borderline of doing it or to not do it. That was Friday. I went today for Sono and rt ovary still got bigger but left shrunk a little. I have to go back Thurs. or if I feel more symptoms. I am really watching my salt and was told not to drink more that a liter and a half of liquid a day. I hope I can fit into my clothes this week for work. I can't button my pants today
