Anyone have experience with vision therapy? Questions...
DD (12 yo) will be going through some extensive vision therapy... wanted to see if anyone had any experience. First session was last night.
On the off chance that someone out there has been through this: Did you have a good outcome? Was it worth it? When did you start noticing a difference?

My daughter is going to vision therapy right now. We chose to do it at home and go to the doctor every 8 weeks for follow-ups. I haven't seen any noticeable improvement yet, but the confirmation that there was an issue (as I suspected for years) was validating and it has helped us in moving forward with getting a 504 plan in place for her.

My daughter was evaluated but they determined it wouldn't help her. she doesn't use her eyes together. Had multiple surgeries to help the muscles keep them in place but her brain only uses one eye at a time.

Thank you for the responses! I'm really hoping this works... it's a huge time commitment at approximately 32 sessions 2x/week!

Thank you for the responses! I'm really hoping this works... it's a huge time commitment at approximately 32 sessions 2x/week!
I'm actually sitting in the doctor's office for it right now. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that she seems some improvement.
