Anyone have difficulty swallowing pills?
I even had trouble swallowing teeny-tiny BC pills, so these prenatals are killing me - I've never seen pills so big! After choking 2 back up last night & this a.m. (sorry TMI), I've gone back to my Flintstones chewable  and folic acid.
My question to you ladies, until I can call the dr., do you think I should be taking 2 folic acid supplements, or just stick w/ 1? There are 400 mcg in the one I'm taking, + 400 mcg in the daily.

Yes, they are very hard to choke down! Especially if it gets stuck in your throat!!!
I think the supplement you are taking is fine until you talk to your dr.

I take Finstones complete and it already had 400mcg of folic acid in it, does yours? My doc said thats fine!

I think 800 mcg is recommended for pregnant women.
I took my flintstones chewables plus a folic acid supplement as my TTC vitamin. I don't have a prob. with swallowing, it is that the real ones used to upset my stomach. I got used to the prenatal vitamins now and only take the flinstones when I am having a bad stomach day. But I have read (on here) people that took flintstones their whole pregnancy. I think it was Stefanie?
