A friend of mine is moving out of her 1BR apartment in Glen Cove...I think she pays $1200. Let me know if you're interested.

I live in an apartment building in Cedarhurst, we have a cocker spaniel so I know they allow dogs :)
Several of my neighbors have used this woman http://daliafritz.com/
She's pretty much the "get it done" type of realtor. We aren't pay 1450 for a LARGE 1 bedroom there. It's right next to the train station and walking dostance to a cute little downtown area. Although, it's DEAD on Fridays and Saturdays because of shabbot.

Here's a listing from craigslist. I used to live here so I know that apartments are not going for what this is listed at. You can likely talk them down. ($1300-$1400). It was a very nice place to live and had I not had DS and needed a larger place, we would never had left.

Re: Anyone have an apartment for rent??

We have a 1 bedroom and a 2 bedroom available in my building in Lynbrook - not sure what they charge though and it would include rent plus gas and electric utilities.

I have a 1 1/2 bedroom and it's really roomy- the building was built in the 1920's and it's REALLY well kept.

FM if you want the info and btw it's in Lynbrook and close to the LIRR and also the N36 and N31/32 and N25 buses if you don't have a car.

Edit: Forgot to mention they don't allow pets.
