Anyone have a SS attorney they can refer?
So the time has come to start my Social Security Disability application process. Has anyone been through this and can recommend an attorney?

Whatever you do, don't use a firm that covers all over the country like a Binder and Binder. I was told they send advocates rather than attorneys to the hearing and you don't meet that person until the day of the hearing, if it goes to hearing. A family member recently used someone on LI that I can't say enough about. FM me if you want the info. Good luck.

i used them for workers comp, but they do SS too

Thank u so much. Appreciate the responses. And yes, I heard to stay clear of Binder. Sadly in my Lupus group that's the one firm that kept coming up along with the horror stories.

Vic Fusco is a friend of mine. He is a great guy. Thankfully, I've never needed assistance in the area of law that he practices, but I wouldn't hesitate to use him.
