Anyone have a sonyma mortgage?
If so, what bank did you use and how long did it take? And if you reccomend the person you dealth with? Thank you!

I have Sonyma and I used HSBC. It took us close to 3 months to close. I think it took that long because i change jobs in the middle of the process.

I had one on my condo. I used HSBC and was extremely happy with them (we used them this time around too).
If I remember correctly, it took between 2-3 months to close. As long as you are super organized with your paperwork, it doesn't take that much more time than a regular mortgage.

I just got mine it took me like 2 1/2 months from contract to close I used Donna at preferred she is a mortgage broker let me know if you want her number I can look for it. If your seller isnt in a huge rush its so worth it, the interest rate I got was great- 5.75 and they also gave me a 6000 dollar closing cost assistance loan.M+T bank is holding my mortgage.

It's a mortgage program for first time homebuyers low interest and or closing assistance. There are income restrictions and more paperwork than a regular mortgage..It could take longer as well.
