Anyone go to the Cake Box bakery?
We have gone to this bakery for a few years. Its located in Bayside in the Bay Terrace shopping center. A few months ago they had a sign that they had to temporarily close but no reasoning for why they had to do it. Then recently they closed permantly. Anyone used to go here? Anyone know what happened? I am so sad. There are no good bakeries to go to get Kosher for Passover cakes in NE Queens and W. Nassau.

my mom lives in bay terrace and i did to up until 3 years ago it was great bakery but i heard ... MICE! It was shut down by the board of health! This is what i hear anyway!

Try G and I Bakery in Kew Garden Hills. They will have Passover cakes.

It was more the service and look af the place that turned me off the last couple of times I went. My mom actually said it wasn't as good.

Ugh. Its a shame though. It was actually a good bakery and only place in the area that had Kosher for Passover cakes.

What about Bruce's in Great Neck? Its only 3 or so miles from Bay Terrace.

They have a whole kosher section in the bakery. Call ahead though because they will be busy. Let me look up the phone number its so simple...its 516-829-CAKE.
